Nick Bockwinkel puts down "Scarface"  in SW Wisconsin:

3  years of photos and several encounters finally leads to Nick putting the hammer down on a buck we call Scarface.  A mature Wisconsin buck with head full of horns and a bad attitude (hence the name). Late on Saturday November 26th Nick saw this buck approach with four does out of a draw.  The buck presented a shot and Nick's .270 did the rest.  This is a perfect scenario of letting a deer walk and watching him grow.  Nick has had several opportunities to put and arrow through this buck in the past but decided that it was not yet his time.  Nicks patients and perseverance has conquered another Wisconsin big boy!

As a hunter, I used to lay awake at night lost in the unknown adventures that stretched past the fields and forests of my home land,  past the mountains and valleys of the the west.  I would lay awake in wonder of the adventures of Africa...Well I no long have to dream......
